PATIENT SERVICES
Complex Issues, Simple Solutions
PAP - Cost-effective Traditional and Institutional Patient
Services Programs
Many of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturers have trusted The Franklin Group to help them customize programs to help poor patients have access to their medicines.
The Franklin Group offers patient services program services ranging from minimal administration to complex case management where we help our customers establish or streamline such things as a pharmacy card, a mail order pharmacy as well as direct shipments of medicines to qualified patients or physicians.
Our approach is to ensure that each of our client’s different No Cost Goods programs (PAP, IPAP,
personal use, missions, compassionate use, etc.) work together as a
cohesive unit. This approach is in sharp contrast to the majority of
existing programs currently in the marketplace, in which the segments
operate independently of one another, ultimately leading to duplicated
efforts, wasted time and wasted money.
The Franklin Group also works directly with healthcare institutions to establish patient assistance programs in which pharmaceutical manufacturers can participate. By setting up a patient assistance program at the institutional level, the healthcare facility can use the same business rules to qualify their patients for prescription medicines from all the participating manufacturers. This ensures that the patient gets the proper medication in a timely fashion with less paper work than if the facility had to work with all the pharmaceutical companies separately, applying different rules and guidelines for each.
